Utah does Halloween for a whole month, and most of the lists online are last year’s dates with the year scratched off. This one is hand verified. We checked the pages, kept the nights worth the drive, and marked the top attractions in each county. The discount codes are the ones that still work. If a host changed the hours after we looked, their site wins. If we missed your spot, say so.

Decorated houses
We live on the west side, a short drive from Daybreak, and the Halloween houses are the one night we plan around. Even so, the island fills up on weekends. So park off the island, walk in, and go on a weeknight if you can. After that, the rest of this section is the yards worth a stop, plus the statewide map if you want to add your own.
Our Favorite Decorated Houses at Daybreak
Harry Potter is the one not to skip. The others are the houses people walk to from there. Themes change, so the address is the reliable part.
Hogwarts on the Island, 4674 Bayview Drive. Do not miss this one. Walk around the house. Diagon Alley, the Great Hall, and the Quidditch hoops are the parts people stop for. It works in the daytime and at night.
The Skeleton House. Look for the yard full of posed skeletons, not a movie set. It is one of the ones that reads from the sidewalk.
Pirates, 10871 Lakedale Lane. A few doors from Hogwarts. Ship, crew, and mermaids. In 2025 a Wicked house was two doors down. Check that the theme is still up.
Beetlejuice, 10832 Fern Ridge Drive. The flashing sign and the characters are the giveaway.
Stranger Things, 5087 Lake Terrace Ave. The whole block is worth the walk.
Willy Wonka, 5038 W Beach Comber Way.
Friends, 10914 S Tahoe Way. Skeletons as the cast, including Monica with the turkey.
Inside Out, 10976 S PaddleBoard Way. This house changes Disney movies. Look at the house next door too.
Alice in Wonderland, 10926 Lake Island Drive. Easy to pass on the way to the island.
